Meet the Utah Couple Behind Wear the WILD

Film camera in hand. Rock climbing in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
The sun sinks over the valley on a warm summer evening, the heat easing as the light fades. Friends nearby. Laughter echoing off granite walls. The canyon glows—hills and mountain peaks catching the last light while long shadows settle into the valleys below.

All that remains is a slightly grainy film photo. A quiet reminder of a moment Utah gave us.

Hello — we’re Eli and Mia, the creators of Wear the WILD.

We’re Utah transplants from Pennsylvania. We traded East Coast humidity for dry desert air and found ourselves changed by the beauty of this place. Our pull to move west began when we got married. We knew we wanted to build our life—and eventually raise our family—somewhere outdoor culture wasn’t just encouraged, but woven into everyday life.

We wanted to raise our kids outside.

Now we have our first child, and we’re doing just that. He’s an outdoor baby through and through. Truthfully, all of us are happier when we’re outside. That shift in lifestyle naturally changed our style, too.

As a family, we rock climb, hike, and camp whenever we can—even as homebodies. We love good coffee, home-cooked meals, slow mornings, waking up in nature, long road trips, and Jesus. Documenting our life together matters deeply to us, so I rarely leave home without a digital camera or a roll of film. Over time, we found ourselves sitting on a growing collection of landscape photos—quiet, powerful moments Utah offered us.

At first, we imagined printing them just for our own home.

Then we wondered: what if we shared them?

We’ve always loved oversized graphic tees—simple, comfortable, and easy to wear anywhere. So we decided to create the kind of shirts we reach for ourselves. Minimal, original graphics inspired by the places that shape us. Tees that feel just as right on a trail as they do in town.

That idea became Wear the WILD.

We hope you find a shirt that becomes your new favorite—one you wear often, live in, and take with you wherever the outdoors calls.

We’re so glad you’re here. Thank you for supporting our small Utah-based brand. We can’t wait to see how you wear the WILD.

Your friends, Eli & Mia
